java platform SE binary help

PJemus

note: im posting on linustechtips forum because i just know that literally nobody else on the internet will give helpful answers.

so i am trying to run modded minecraft (making a 4k timelapse of a 1:1 scale reichstag) on my new PC. I have installed java 64bit first, then java 32bit because i thought that this issue was caused by me missing 32bit java for some reason. the issue is that - as i tested on my laptop - when minecraft is run, 2 'java platform SE binary' processes run, and one is responsible for initiating, and running the game itself, yet i am missing this process when i start up minecraft. it works fine for anything that isnt the '1.7.2 forge*numbers*' version of minecraft i am running. this forge version runs fine at 4k on my laptop, but wont even open on my new desktop. the only problem that i can find is that the second java platform SE binary process is not starting. what could cause this, and how do i fix it?

Check your AV + firewalls, may be blocking it, try disabling them and then running it and see if that helps?
