How to transfer User file from SSD to HDD/SSHD

Van Der Shah

My ssd is almost full and the user file occupies the most space. There's nothing much in Program Files. How do I transfer the User file over to my other HDD and set it that it that anything I download will go the the HDD and not SSD.

Thanks

You can set the download path in the browser itself.

You can't move your user fold- Well maybe you could, I wouldn't try it until we hear from more people but you could in theory put your user profile on another drive, and then make a "shortcut" using mklink in cmd, I'm not sure if it'd work with windows components, though.

To move the My Documents folder you right click the folder, properties, location tab, and hit move. This is probably what's taking up the most space in the User folder, which I don't think you can move.
