Randomly getting lower Speeds 150mbps to 60mbps down

My internet speed have gone down and i don't know what happened i get the correct speeds from my modem but through the router i have these lower speeds i have a Netgear Nighthawk.

The first things that come to mind are to check for a firmware update, check the actual cable itself (try a different one, if possible), and check

QoS settings

I also seem to recall that the netgear had some issues with IPV4 addresses on some routers, but I don't remember if it was an issue with the nighthawk, or something else.

It may be worth it to completely cycle the network.

so QoS up was limited to 512 kbps so that was the issue. i thank you you kind sir
