Hi,

My school library is selling 8GB memory sticks for a fiver. Is this any good? They're by Kingston, so they're OK brand wise, and it's handy because then I can just get one at lunch and not have to worry about delivery. Thanks

Assuming it's DDR 3, sure that's fine.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

Speed? Heat sink? Timings? If they're slow and have no heat sinks, I'd say that's average for new. You can get 8GB sticks 1600 MHz 9 CAS with a heat spreader for $65.

Lol, I thought fiver meant 50, but yeah 8GB flash drives for $5 makes more sense.

Guys, in the UK flash drives are called memory sticks. I know it's wrong, but oh well.
