Ehh, whatever's on sale.

I don't think you get meaningful differences in read and write speeds when buying such low capacities.

Edit: Actually I thought ~20MB/s was the pretty much the limit on writes for non-SSD controller drives, but Kingston's Data Traveler Ultimate comes in 32GB and has 70MB/s write speed.

Edit2: Actually actually, reviews show that you can only get that speed in certain scenarios and in other it'll average 25MB/s. It's a shame really fast drives are so bulky.

Either corsair voyger or kingston g4

Mainly because they're reliable, but most pendrives should be fine.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Something that will fit and not obstruct nearby ports, Absolutely loathe bulky usb designs.

Personally I use Sandisk Ultra Fit 64GBs (and they're great, though getting the protective cap off is difficult, so I don't use it). Reliable and fast, plus cheap (at least here)

But really, just get whatever's cheapest that has a reasonable profile.

If you want a fast 32GB USB drive i can recommend SanDisk Extreme (Up to 245 MB/s Read 100 MB/s Write). I have one myself and it preforms as it says on the box.

@TristanK that does look nice.

Though a review on yotube showed that, when writing a lot of small files (photos), it averages a bit over 50MB/s.

Still a very nice size/performance and it doesn't have a cap. I might upgrade to it from my current USB2 drive.

If you're in Europe, aldi/hofer has some wicked fast flash drives at 20€/64GB. So examples (not all of them though) can hit 240/100MB/s !

Well you can always take the 64GB version (Up to 245MB/s/Read 190MB/s Write) :)

...or this one If you re willing to spend a bit more:

SanDiskExtremePro Up to 240MB/s write; Up to 260MB/s read

I just use SanDisk for SSD's or SDcards or pendrives since I trust their brand over any others when it comes to this types of storage devices
