does the maximus vii ranger have hotswappable drive capabilities

hi guys, i have an asus rog maximus vii ranger mobo and a cm storm stryker case which has a hotswappable 2.5 inch bay. i was wondering whether the motherboard accepts hot swapping

I believe the hotswapping applies only to the case and it just means that the case can have a SATA connection and power connected to the hot swap bay permanently so you can plug a drive into the bay and it will be connected up without you having to open the case up and attach the cables every time.

So yes it should work as long as you've got enough SATA ports on the motherboard for the bay and other permanent drives in the case. And power for them as well.
