dell 15 i5 5050 laptop cpu

Is there a way to upgrade the cpu of my dell 15 n5050 i5? At least to something with a slightly higher integrated graphics i just want to play borderlands on lowest settings at a solid 25-30 fps. What cpus would be compatable? Thanks

You could upgrade your CPU, but you will only get a slight boost(not worth it). The only graphics available for your system is the Intel HD 3000, because there was no dedicated graphics option. i7's have higher GPU clock speeds, but like I said, it will only give a slight boost making it not worth it.

 

Also, your power plan is at least in "balanced" right?

Yah i put performance to high, i went into graphics bios and set it to performance, and i am now installing a new driver so hopefully that will help. Thanks
