PG278Q Rog Swift Backorders and Inversion issues.

Praxis727

So, I have my ncix cart Loaded with 2 PG278Q Rog Swift Monitors and I am hesitant to hit the buy button due to these inversion Pixel issues I have recently read up on.  I am also curious to how long of a back order it will be but I can make a phone call in the morning for that.  Has anyone heard anything about these issues.  I could use the opinions if I should buy this monitor or not.  It is a lot of money to spend if it does not work properly.

I would really appreciate some input on this inversion issue as I am about to buy 2 of them.  I was hoping that I could get some opinions on the monitor from people whom have purchased this product.

unless you're using them on two different computers you only really need 1 120hz+ screen. buy an ips for your second screen. as for the inversion issues I don't know.

I only notice it when the OD setting is on Extreme. When set on normal I dont have any noticeable pixel inversion. If you play video games, you really can't go wrong with the swift, it really does make the games more enjoyable with the higher refresh rate, g-sync, and 1440p.

The inversion is only really noticeable on aliased edges in games, particularly thin geometry like grates. The aliasing that would show up as a lighter pixel on my old monitor shows up as red and green tinted pixels. A bigger problem is vertical lines that happen during movement. Imagine interlaced video except the lines run vertically. Both of these issues aren't enough of issue to really bother me. It still the only monitor with all the features I needed, and I wouldn't even consider returning it.

That is exactly what I wanted to hear.  I just placed an order for my brother and I.  As well with 2 brand new corsair RGB Keyboards.
