Here are some pictures.

They heat sink more like the old Vengeance rather than TridentX. I have both.

The hof look taller than any of them.

Look at the geometry along the top edge. It's a perfect match, ingresses and all. I mean, it's not like it performs any better and is going to take G.Skill's market share, so I doubt they care, but that's a blatant theft of design.

SEXY, perfect for an ASUS X99 Deluxe.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

That looks pretty nasty. An actual white PCB would look nice but painted like that doesn't look very good IMO.

Oohhh... *passes out*

Now we can have pretty white computers that are running OC'd 6 or 8 core processors that use DDR4.

Ehh, I don't like it. AFAIK there's no benefit with bigger heat spreaders on memory and they can easily get in the way of coolers. I think the neater low profile ones always look better.

If they come out with a low-profile version, I'm in.

otherwise, no thank you. I despise large heat spreaders.

edit:

DDR4 comes in lower voltages, why the large heat spreaders then?

SPAAAAAACE!!!

Who gives a shit, its CL16, which means it will be shit for productivity, or anything that needs low CL, why cant CL9/CL7 just be the minimum spec for DDR4?

Maybe if it's DDR4 4000MHz RAM the heatspreader will be necessary :P

You have to remember absolute latency matters more than just the CL number. I believe it's 1000CL*2/rated MHz which gives you absolute latency in nanoseconds.

Leak? Wat? So Galax is into making memory now?
