open a CMD and try to ping the Default Gateway address. If you can ping it and you still cant log in via a browser then maybe a reset would do the trick?

Also make sure that is the right address sometimes it can be 192.168.0.1

If you are running windows, open up command prompt. Type in the command "ipconfig /all"

Right click, select "mark" from the context menu, and then paste the results here.

Are you trying to use Chrome to open 192.168.1.1

Try Firefox or Internet Explorer. There are reports that web interface of the N600 won't work with chromium based browsers.

EDIT: and the address is most definatly 192.168.1.1

i tried every browser safari firefox chrome and internet explorer

There is a reset button on the router, hold it for 30 seconds, then you should be able to access your router web interface.
