I am using msi afterburner and am wondering the avg. amount of increase in core clock and memory clock i should be looking for.  What is the avg amount that one can boost the core and memory.  I am trying to push mine to the max and would appreciate a good starting point.

It all depends on your particular card. Turn power limit up all the way, and keep increasing core clock and stress testing until it be comes unstable, then dial it down a notch. Memory clock doesn't really matter much for gaming performance so just leave it at stock.
