Dark Souls 2, Mario Kart 8 (which is hardly revolutionary but at least most people love it), Bayonetta 2, and just because most games are total trash this year, Shadows of Mordor which would be an above average game in a good year, but looks like a damn masterpiece this year. I returned Dragon's Age Inquisition for a full refund. Over hyped, laughable controls, and Bioware can't come close to writing a good story anymore. Stick a fork in them because they are done.  If I wanted to play a single player MMO with boring quests and a weak story, I would just play a real MMO. Freakin leveling a character in SWTOR was more fun than that game. A MMO having better story lines and probably quests that were more fun, than a Triple A mostly single player game is downright pathetic. 

 

This is simply the worst year for video games I can remember. Without Dark Souls 2, old games/multiplayer games on my PC, and Wii U? I wouldn't want to game at all. People that just have a next  gen console must hate gaming atm and their best titles are freakin re releases. 

 

Far Cry 3.5 is better than some of the games out, but nothing revolutionary. Also the PC port is absolute garbage with stutter up the wazoo. 

 

The sad thing is, there isn't much to look forward to from the triple A's. I know Mass Effect 4 will suck, and the only two games that have a chance at being good are Witcher 3 and Batman and those come out next year. Other than that? Free to play games like Unreal or that shooter from Blizzard look more promising. After BF4 does anyone really expect Battlefront to be great?
