OEM HDD?

Spev
Go to solution Solved by Spev,

OEM HDDs (and SSDs for that matter) don't come with anything other than the HDD. No mouting screws or cables.

Atleast that what it usually mean.

OEM hdd just come with the drive. no mounting screws or fancy packaging.

Thank you both.

So I know OEM windows is like a system builder's windows license, but what is an OEM HDD? I was about to add a 2TB WD Black to my cart to purchase and noticed it says OEM Desktop Harddrive, I thought I should ask. I don't think they windows license I'm getting is OEM. This may seem silly but I'm just wondering if it matters or what it means..
