i7 4790K Cooler

Hi i just upgraded my computer because i had a power surge, but anyway i got the i7 4790K and i am not sure what cooler to get. Any recommendations i was thinking of the Noctua NH-D15 what do you guys think?

Depends on if you prefer water cooling over air.

The Noctua is a great one.

Either 212 evo (if you wanna go air) or h220x (if you want top of the line liquid cooling)

If you're thinking of the NH D15, get the cryorig r1.

 

It performs better in some reviews I've seen, looks better and has better ram compatibility IMO.

 

Here's a picture of mine, I just got it and it's amazing: ( i bought the slim fan they sell as well, so it wouldn't interfere with my ram)
