Mainly sound problems

So i just finished putting my new computer together and i dont seem to have any sound on youtube videos/games. For some reason i can get perfect sound from Skype and Teamspeak but nothing else seems to work. I was wondering if i forgot to install something or whats going on.

 

 

Not as important: My games on steam are only get like 1 fps max. Not kidding. They are games that are very easy to run ex. Heroes and Generals, and my computer has 16 GB of RAM an FX 8350 processor and a GTX 970 Graphics card, so it should be more than capable of running anything and everything i throw at it

Did you install drivers?

I installed everything i could think of, and im pretty sure i got everything
