What are the specs like on the Venue 8 Pro vs the ASUS VivoTab in comparison?

You've also gotta look at the build quality of both and compare them against each other. ;)

the Venue has two cores up on the Asus, and a nicer screen.

Where're you getting that from?

On one hand I'd go for the ASUS purely based on the aluminium body, however, the Dell, being made out of plastic, would be more resistant to dents and bendability, but it's totally and completely up to you mate. I know not everything that's made out of aluminium bends quite as easily as the iPhone 6+. :P

Well, you could save up for the mammoth of all tablets and go for the Microsoft Surface Pro. Just a thought. I know they're a bit expensive, but still, you're choice. ;)
