"Fast and Safe" removal help

Ok so today when i went on my computer, i had multiple notification from McAfee saying "P.U.P found". When i clicked the remove button, i got a pop up saying it can not be removed. When i try to uninstall said application, it says program can not be uninstalled and was part of a package download. I like knowing that my computer wont be killed by a virus or malware, hate the McAfee pop ups, and after doing some research on the app it was said to be malware. Any help to remove it would be gratefully appreciated, thanks

Uninstall McAfee and get this https://www.malwarebytes.org/

I use AVG myself but Avast is perfectly fine too.
