Should I put my PC on top of something like cardboard

Søren Bjerg

(Continued from title) to increase ventilation? My PC is on carpet right now so maybe it would help.

I mean it depends on your fan setup, if you don't have a bottom PSU fan then it shouldn't make that much of a difference

Cardboard, wood, plastic sheet all work. Just make sure it's something hard that does not sink into carpet and you should be fine

It would be fine, but if you can find a thin 1/4 thich sheet of plywood, that would be even better.

It depends what it's on now, if it's on carpet, then yeah, cardboard would be better, but if it's on a hardwood floor/tile then it should be fine.

Tile would be best, Tile absorbs heat really well, if you can put it on top of that, it would be good to go
