Razer RGB or Corsair (Red vs Brown)

MudkipzGamer

Hello people of LTT, I have a few questions for you guys:

1. Corsair K70 RGB or Razer Blackwidow RGB?

2. If I go Corsair, Brown switches or Red? (Mostly gaming and surfing web)

3. I know this is not suppose to be here, but should I get a Hyper X Cloud gaming headset, or another headset under $100?

Thanks for the help!

1. Corsair because cherry MX. Be ready for the software though, hugely overcomplicated

2. I prefer brown but you might prefer red. I would choose brown if this is your first mechanical keyboard.

3. HyperX cloud straight up. However if you want open back for a better soundstage (Good in shooters like CS:GO) Get a Superlux HD668B and a modmic 4.0

I would go with the Corsair instead of the Razer. 1. Real Cherry MX switches as opposed to Razer "Green" Kaihl switches 2. Better overall build quality. Although the Corsair RGB software has a really steep learning curve, but once accustomed, can have endless possibilities. The Razer I believe has LEDs that are a bit brighter. As to what switch choice, it's up to personal preference, I love Reds because they have a nice soft quiet click, but I've tried Browns as well and I like them too.

1) Corsair for sure

2) I prefer Reds myself. They are silky smooth and buttery and require no effort.

3) Cloud
