Go back to Android 4.4 from 5.0

warmmilk

Is there an easy way to go back to 4.4 from 5.0? I updated about a week ago and in not really a fan. It's buggy, I don't like how the new lock screen works with the pattern unlock, video playback ducks, notifications suck, etc.

So is there an easy way to go back or do I have to do the whole wipe my phone thing and install a fresh 4.4?

Edit:

device is Nexus 5

on my Nexus 5 , i flashed the OTA manually, and its super awesome.

My 2012 Nexus 7 on the other hand, kinda runs a but shit at the moment, it's a known issue with that device and manually flashing it. something to do with the nand or something

As of right now there is only the factory images if it's a Nexus device, which will require wiping and installing fresh 4.4. On other devices it will depend on which device in particular

Download the 4.4 factory image for your phone (hammerhead) and flash it in the recovery or adb
