Wow, they literally can not stop digging, at all. This is like a snowball going down a hill, it keeps getting bigger and bigger, and only a brick wall can stop it

Lel that sux balls. If this would be a in a day one patch than it would be liveable with, but now that people have already sunk so many hours into this game this just stings.

Ubisoft. Just tell your customers to just delete the memory of your existence, so you can think in the corner and reintroduce yourself better to the market again. You've pretty much been destroying your image, so its either that or changing your brand name or something. EA was bad, but I don't think they ruined their PR like Ubisoft did.

@c3p0, well, that's one example. Although the last word needed to start with "T". ;)

Yeah digging and all but seriously: If you're posting news please put a little bit on effort in it instead of spending more time on the gif than on at least copypasting the quotes from Ubi and such.

This is a little bit sensationalist.

It does not affect disc-based versions of the game, only digital downloads.

To fix the problem you have to delete your current digital download including all saves then redownload the game from the PlayStation Store (the correct version).

We want to assure you that we have kept a close eye on the “delete FC3 game data issue” experienced by some PS3 players who downloaded the game digitally. We have identified a solution, and a new version is now available for download.

If you are an affected player, you must completely delete the existing version of the game and then go to the store and re-download the correct version of the game.

To remove the existing version:

1) Navigate to the ‘Game’ option from the XMB
2) Highlight the installed version of the game and press the triangle button
3) Select ‘Delete’ and confirm the prompt
4) While still in the ‘Game’ option, select ‘Saved Data Utility (PS3)’
5) If a Far Cry 4 save file exists, highlight it and press the triangle button
6) Select ‘Delete’ and confirm the prompt to remove the save file
7) Repeat this step for all Far Cry 4 save files in the folder
8) While still in the ‘Game’ option, select ‘Game Data Utility’
9) Highlight the Far Cry 4 game data and press the triangle button
10) Select ‘Delete’ and confirm the prompt to remove the game data

Note: you do not need to delete any save files from previous versions, including Far Cry 3 and Blood Dragon!

After this is complete, to install the correct version you must select 'PlayStation Store' from the 'Game' menu option, then download the game again from the Far Cry 4 product page. The new file should appear with a size of 9.4GB.

This should not affect players using disc-based versions of the PS3 game. Future downloads should also not be affected by this issue.

They still should have had this fixed before release regardless, but at least be accurate in your post. Just because its cool to slam Ubisoft recently doesn't mean you should be intentionally inaccurate.

Like I posted before, Ubisoft has instead of throwing away the shovel and attempting to climb out of the hole they have dug. They had decided to switch tools, from Shovel to Massive Tunnel borer (or TBM). Here we go :D

I have to say the worst thing EA ever did in my opinion was ruin the Command and Conquer franchise I guess they screwed up the pc launch of BF4 but they also admitted it and changed the way the game would be released in the future. I've never really understood the EA hate.
