Just wondering when usb type c should start taking over on phones and tablets and on laptops and pc mobos to the point where almost everything new is usb type c? Also us it set to replace all other usb like usb b for printers and some microphones and such

Given how successful USB has been even with all the annoying flaws like fragile, unsteady Micro plugs, I don't see why Type C should become anything less than ubiquitous for literally any use. You can power a laptop off of it, or a monitor, hell, you could use several of them in parallel to power a graphics card if you wanted!

True, true. I just want it to be on literally everything now that the design has been completely perfected.

Also, no offence intended, although potentially given anyway, but why do I feel as though people, myself included, are kind of being assholes when they pull the -snip- card? I mean, it's okay when someone just wrote a freaking essay and it would take up a ton of space on the page to do it another way, but especially for two-line posts, I feel like it just makes people look like jerks who perhaps didn't take the time to read the post they're quoting. I'm not saying that's what's actually going on. It's just that it seems a bit jerkish.

I got a rude reply from a user when I quoted something, that's why I'm doing it now.

I used to quote stuff, because it adds flow to the conversation, you don't have to go up and down, but yeah I see your point.
