COD AW now or later?

slifer

I'm planning to get this game, but I have a question..

Buy now? (this holiday season)

or buy later? (2015 year)

What price do you guys expect the game to drop to this holiday season? Should I wait for it to decrease in price next year? Or is it worth it right now?

For those who have it what do you think of it?

I would buy it sooner then later if you're planning to buy for the online play.

If you wait by the time you start everyone will have elite gun variants and you'll a die a lot more then normal, well not necessarily.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Well on steam, not much. The first CoD game is still like 20$. If you buy it on black friday or w/e, you could probably get it for like 30. Although a physical PC copy may be hard to find. For boxing day/christmas sales maybe 40$? I'm just guessing though.

Population of players HUGELY decreases weekly & within the first 6 months its quite shocking how bad it can get to find a game of varied modes.

Now is the time. now later on.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Call of Duty titles don't go on sale very often, and hold their price for quite some time .

New titles very rarely go on sale, Ghosts (even with it's dismal reviews) took about six monts before it saw it's first sale, only 10% off.

Yes I do.

I'm like level 21 prestige 2 or something like that. It's definitly my favorite CoD so far, besides maybe Black Ops 2. But I liked that game for who and how I played it, not the gameplay itself :P.

The gameply on AW is a lot more fun then previous CoD titles.

By Call of Duty standards, it's a solid entry to the series. As a standalone title, I personally feel that it would be ripped to shreds.

Launch day for MW3, there were literally one million players playing multiplayer on 360. That was a sight to be seen and I don't think I'll ever see it again.

I agree. It's a fresh and invigorating title of the series.

I agree with others that if you want it for multiplayer, buy it now! The population is already on the decline, and the price probably isn't. COD games stay expensive so if you wanna grind some hours in multiplayer I would buy it now. I'm having a lot of fun in it now, have 35 hours racked up, which is a lot for 1 game for someone like me.

If you're looking to save money, buy it later. If you're worried about bugs, buy it now. Game works great although I do have some networking issues with matchmaking. I just have to leave the lobby after a game and then start it back up again.

I would get it now. I don't think the price will really drop, but the player count will decrease the longer you wait (excluding that jump on Christmas).

For the sheer speed of movement, Titanfall, however that also has population problems at times finding a match (not always)

The alternative to COD has always been other COD titles.

Any Borderlands 1-2 and the Pre-Squel, Titanfall (I think it still for 10 dollars on amazon digital code). Battlefield 3-4

If you on console: Destiny
