Fan Controller Suggestions - Loop Temperature Controlled

Hey Guys,

I'm having difficulty controlling the 8 pwm fans (7 on rads) in my PC. The system is all on a custom water loop (CPU + 2 GPUs).

I'd like the fan speeds to be controlled by water temps (I already have an inline sensor).

I have an ASUS Z97 Ranger, its additional sensor input won't work for fan controlling, due to (known) BIOS issues (I've wrestled with Fan Xpert for hours). I've also tried SpeedFan, it doesn't seem to control the fans or even detect the additional sensor.

I'm looking at a fan controller which I can configure a PWM (preferable more than 1 output) fan curve according to a sensor input.

I have this system in a H440 so a 5.25" bay controller is kind of out of the questions, but its a modded case already. I would be willing to mod it in if there is no other option available.

So the requirements for the fan controller:

PWM fan control

Sensor inputs (at least one)

Automatic adjustment based on a fan curve (according to the sensor input)

I thought these were pretty standard requirements, but it seems products which satisfy this are few and far between...

So far I've found this: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13696/bus-271/Aquacomputer_Aquaero_5_LT_USB_Fan_Controller_Liquid_System_Controller_53095.html

It only has one 1 PWM fan output, I can easily split the PWM, but more control than this would be desirable...

I was thinking about the T-Balancer bigNG, but I've heard bad things about the software? Also from what I've read about it, it has PWM control, but from photos it looks like it only supports 3pin fans?

Also I've already argued with people about the merits of controlling fans based on the water temperature, I'm pretty keen on doing it.

Aquaero 6 has more options but is also more expensive.

Yeah I was looking at that, 4 PWM fan outputs. It would be perfect! but its $70 vs $200  :o
