Looking for teammate for a quick session of Dayz/free loot

I'm just enjoying myself playing alone but I've come to the predicament where I have a fully kitted m4 that I DO NOT want but I can't bring myself to leave such a rare piece of gear behind. So I'm looking for someone that would like to take it off my hands and give it a good home.

Everyone keeps saying that shit and I get it, too many bandits. But I truly don't want this damn thing. Been using a fucking m4 since SA came out and I'm tired of it. I want to use the shotgun and the ak74 or aks or ANYTHING but the damn m4.

To be fair I played the SA religiously at release, but then I got to annoyed with all the bugs and crap then went on, It's only the past 2-3 weeks that I've gotten back into it, so I've not seen an m4 for a very long time. Or any AK mags for that fucking matter. Seriously, I've been carrying the same AK around with me for the entire 3 weeks and I've not found 1 single mag?

I'm jealous, I really want to get either a ak74 or mp133 and pair them with a Longhorn. The mp133 is really really fun though, it one shots any zombie no matter where you hit it. I assume it will drop a player one shot also which is really nice. Running two primary weapons (so you always have to have one in  hand) is just so tedious and I always end up doing it and I'm sick of it. Which is why I really want to get rid of this m4 so I don't have to worry about it.

Haha I do like the Longhorn myself. And I know what you mean, every time I eat I often forget to pick my Mosin back up so I end up trecking back to find it How many mags do you have for the m4?

Yea I haven't actually gotten to shoot anyone with the longhorn but I assume it is effective out to like 600m which is what the average range for a sniper shot is. And yea I lost a kitted mosin by forgetting to pick it up and I couldn't find it again lol. But I only have a single double mag but it has a full 60 rounds in it.

No system runs any dayz decently, you can see my spec in my sig and you will probably get the same performance that I do.

Even though you have a GTX 770? so this is cpu based then? All i want it to do is be playable

No Dayz is nothing based, the game is extremely poorly optimized and runs like shit on any pc no matter the specs. Hopefully this will change down the road but atm if you meet a certain threshold which you do then you will get pretty much the same fps every one does.

I feel like I need to step in here.... Take a look at my specs, I have everything running at High/Ultra including all of the AA's (Bar shadows because I just hate them..) and my FPS averages around 50-60 steady and drops down to 30 in big towns like Chernarus. 

 

DayZ SA is not perfect but it's no where near as bad in the way of optimisation as Vendetta is making out... If you scale the setting right with a little bit of trail and error you can get it running smoothly.

 

And PurplDrank, before my current rig I was running a GTX-550ti and if you set up the setting correctly you could get it to run very smooth, it didn't look next gen but it looked better then Arma II

 

Try using GeForce experience, it automatically picks the best settings for your card

My old rig was a really old amd athlon dual core from like 2006 and a Nvidia gtx 9600gso with 4gb of ram and I literally maybe got like 5 less fps with that rig than I do with my current rig. I was saying those things based on personal experience from myself and friends. But yes you're right, playing with the settings is the key. I use the same settings I have always used which is what I found best on both of my rigs.
