Which cpu cooler is better? Hyper 212x or hyper TX3

Hi guys I was wondering which CPU cooler would be better for me. I want to get a g3258 which I will overclock. The 212x is about 10$ more where I live but if it is a lot better I will buy it.Thx for the help!

You can overclock on the stock cooler.

But what games do you plan on playing? an i3 or 860k might very well be a better option than a G3258.

If you're playing MMOs then the G3258 is a good choice, if you're playing games like BF4, then an i3 (or even an 860k) would be the better choice.

I am on a budget and where I live(South Africa) the cheapest i3 is around 80$ more...

Will the stock cooler reduce the life of the chip if I overclock and if so what cpu cooler should I get of these two?

Well, an 860k would still be better in any modern (non-MMO) games.

And the stock cooler is fine.

I can't get that in South Africa. Mostly intel chips and APUs are what you can get
