need helps with packeteer 4500

mineblaster

i just picked it up the other day it turn on and alows traffic but i cant find the ip to login and i cant reset it

i try the ip 207.78.98.254 but no response

 

all i really got googling

Run me through what you've done so far and your network configuration? How are you trying to connect to it? Are you wired directly?

ive recived it and plug it in

i made an atempt to ping it over ethernet from what manuals i can find (207.78.97.254)

i ask the seller about it and they had no clue about what is was in the first place

i dont have an console cable for it

Where in your network is it plugged in? Plugging into a switch? In between Internet and router? Router and switch?

Have you tried directly plugging into the interface on it?

Edit: Just want to clarify, I have never used this product, I'm just speculating based off my knowledge of networking and using other enterprise grade products.

directly plugged in at first (straight cable) then added it to a switch to see any diffrence
