Is the Nvidia Shield tablet actually worth it?

So i'm thinking of buying the Nvidia Shield Tablet...

Now I don't really see myself using it for gaming /all/ that much... so is it actually good for general tablet usage.. YouTube videos, Netflix, whatever floats your boat, or is it just a massive overpriced piece of ass because of the 'gaming features' like most things are which are labelled as gaming products? I'd rather get a solid piece of sensible technology rather than a 'gaming' branded thing any day...

It's still a pretty nice tablet even if you don't use it for gaming.

Cool cool. Do you know much about the whole 'Using your computer as the brains' thing that they do? (The name escapes me)

I think what they mean by that is the game streaming thing.

Um what? Nvidia GRID Cloud Streaming? Nvidia Game Streaming? (Both are great services if you have a fairly good router and a decent PC with an Nvidia card)
