Sharif
Go to solution Solved by MegaDave91,

You might disturb your webcam, that's about it.

I just want to try an experiment on myself while i sleep and want to review the footage tomorrow

Webcam HD 3000 MIcrosoft

Will it damage the webcam anyhow?

It won't damage your webcam. The real question is: DO YOU EVEN STORAGE BRO?

It'll make for the most boring home video of all time and use electricity unnecessarily but it shouldn't break it.

I don't think the Cam will get any damage, but the Video itself will get pretty long maybe try burstshots.

Should be perfectly fine unless it overheats.

I doubt that it takes up that much space.

No damage should befall the cam but you will likely have crap video quality... and can you actually store that much raw footage, and do you really wanna watch 6 hours of you sleeping? sounds like watching paint dry...

Unless you produce massive blasts of IR waves while you sleep, you'll be fine.

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

Depends on whether or not it is HD footage. 6 hours of wmv footage is like 20+ gb, if not more.

Sorry if this is weird question, but why are you recording your room while you are sleeping? Just dismiss this question if you don't wanna answer it.
