LAG question, help!

Epic_Nex

Does playing on a higher resolution increase lag in a FPS game, or will it only make the system work harder to render it?

It should be working at the same level, unless you have something like an FPS limiter on to reduce load, in which case it will make the system work harder. Not sure what you mean by increase lag, but increasing resolution could decrease framerate.

Playing at higher resolutions make this kind of math "more pixels" = "more work", so yes it makes your system work harder. Why you think Linus had to make a special 4K build guide?
