My experience with the Moto G Camera

First off, why all the hate on the moto X camera? is it really that bad? its like an extra $250 more then the moto g, would the camera not be equal or greater in quality then its lesser counterpart?

Anyways the Moto G's camera is the Best 5MP camera i have ever seen. It does 120Hz slow-mo and even has HDR capability. It has panorama (fairly standard software side feature)

Now we will compair my Dell venue 8 pro's 5MP camera to my Moto G's 5MP camera.

Low Light

Both cameras are not the best in low light, now to keep it even i did not use the flash on the moto G because the Venue 8 pro does not have one at all.... See how the ISO is much better on the Moto. See all that green/red dots on the dell, thats from having a bad ISO value in low light. But if i did use a flash it would look totally normal.

Here are some Nice shots i took with HDR on with the Moto G.

Btw, those mountains in the distance are in the US, but the one right by the water is still in Canada.

Notice how the bright sun is doesn't even reflect off the roof of the castle, but at the same time shadows are visible, this is the magic of High Dynamic Range (HDR, some cameras call it HDRR, high dynamic rage rendering)

Here is a slow mo i took of my friend jumping. Unfortunately the ISO drops off at 120Hz, so plain white walls start to look imperfect.

Are they compressed/resized? They're pretty good for a phone at that price.
