Trying to find the location to set the idle time... I want to have it set to like 5min.. or something.. but I can't find the option.

not sure exactly what you are looking for.

if you set folding to automatically start at idle,

it means that whenever your screen goes black

or turns on a screen saver, meaning the pc is

in idle, folding will automatically start up.

you can go into the control-panel, look in the

power savings option. Change your screen to

turn off after 1-5 minutes, to reduce that time gap

between you leaving the pc and folding starting.

oh.. I don't have a screensaver or have my screen turn off...

I thought I could just change the setting in F@H :/

well that might be a problem if you want to use that feature.

i assume you most likely have windows? if so:

control panel > hardware and sound > power saving options  > edit, set screen to whatever you feel like, preferably 2-5 min.

Then your pc will be considered being in "idle" after that time period.

I don't think the folding client by itself pays much attention to when you are using the pc or not.

Generally the os decides what "idle" is.

well, having a black screen would be preferable.

To avoid wasting resources that could have been

better spent folding, as little as it may be.

Whether you want a screen saver or not is up to you though.
