how to tv resolutions scale with ps4?

im going to get a ps4 soon and right now im using a 32 inch 720p tv. how different would the ps4 games look if it was a 32 inch 1080p tv instead? does it depend on which game it is or what?

not too different. most PS4 games are rendered at 900p or 720p as far as I know. a 1080p will look better at some titles, but as long as you don't sit too close to your TV, the experience won't change *that* much

They would look like 720p games... super sampled to 900p.

Actually it differs between 720p-1080p.

The FPS cap is also different from game to game. 

An APU pushing out 1080p? 

I'm pretty sure that's way off...

 

Like @ mentioned, most consoles' output is at 900p. (AC_Unity)

would the 1080p games upscale to 1080p on my 720p tv though? or would they be playing at 720p resolution

That chart makes me want to puke. 30 FPS at 720p, 30 FPS at 900p, 30 FPS at 1080p ..... EESH!

but sure only mention the low end of the scale

 

By all means they aren't the fastest systems in the world, but they are $400 set top boxes

 

An APU pushing out 1080p? 

Being on a single die has absolutely 0 relation to performance, its a pitcairn GPU and a Jaguar CPU, its not like they would be faster as seperate units.
