Best sub $1200 USD Gaming/Workstation laptop.

thatoneguythatsprettycool

Hello! I have been looking around at the laptops in this price range and I'm not quite sure which would be best for my purposes. I do a lot of Adobe creative cloud work, and I also do a fair amount of hardcore gaming(BF3, Far Cry 3, Watch Dogs, etc.). I am not looking for a thin laptop, although I wouldn't mind it, and I don't need the battery to be very large either as 90% of the time it will be plugged in.

Thanks!

Oh, also, what screen size do you think would be the best for my purposes?

1600x900 (gaming) or 1920x1080 (creativity stuff)

So far I'm trying to decide between these laptops:

Lenovo Y50 4K

Asus G750JM-DS71

MSI GT60 Dominator-424

ASUS GL551JM-EH71

Which do you think would be the best for my uses?

I meant like 14" 15.6" 17.3" I know I want 1080p

I'd go for the biggest possible screen because it can be pretty useful when manipulating photos etc.

True, but I'm not sure if I want to carry around such a large laptop.

Get the 15,6 inch then. You get the best of both worlds... kinda

I'm thinking that I'm gonna get the MSI GT60 Dominator-424, as it has the best specs overall and the 870M is a pretty decent jump from the 860m in the other laptops.
