Can i run far cry 4

I can play far cry 3 on medium settings with my laptop but on game-debate they say i cant run far cry  4.

can i play far cry 4 ?

 

laptop specs:

 

cpu : i7-4700mq

gpu: gt 740m

ram: 8gb

hdd: 1tb

720p  screen

my rig ( fx-8370@ 4.6GHz / Nepton 240m/ msi 970 gaming / 16 Gb corsair xms / antec VP700P /  aerocool xpredator x1 white / costum rgb lights / r9 290 direct cu2 / 1 TB hhd/ sandisk 128gb ssd / adata SP900 128gb )

peripherals ( steelseries apex / sharkoon fireglider black / razer goliathus / lg25ub55 )

Wait until it's out.

 

Until it gets benchmarked you won't know what kind of performance to expect. But yes, you will run it, as to how well only time will tell.

Well far cry 4 is the same engine as far cry 3 with some improvements, I would assume it would run similar or slightly worse with the upgrades so maybe low/medium

You will have to wait until it comes out but that would be my guess

Will it run? Yes.

Will it run smoothly (60fps constant)? I doubt it. Even in 30fps.

Unfortunatelty your gfx (GT 740m) will hold you back.  :(
