What is a good tablet to buy for my dad on Black Friday?

Ryou-kun

Alright then, I am having a debate on what tablet to buy for my dad.

I was considering Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 and slap a micro-sd card in there to increase the storage, however, I am not a big fan of that low resolution.

I know Nexus 7 v2012/v2013 is a good choice but it lacks a micro-sd card slot so I am not going to bother with it.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX7 is a good and affordable tablet, but it doesn't support Google Play Store and also lack of micro-sd slot storage.

I am trying to keep the budget probably under $200 dollar and at either 7" or 8".

It is going to be probably Android OS.

What he will be using the tablet for is playing games, watching videos such as Netflix/Amazon Instant Video (he will be using my Student Prime Account to watch TV shows/movies), Facebook, etc.

Well, I don't recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. But you can buy a 32GB Nexus. No way you use more than that. :o

Well, I am not using it. :o

Beside, you know Samsung tablet is going to have a lot of bloatware such as TouchWiz, so it is better to have more storage.

Not to mention, I will be downloading crap ton of apps for my dad to either play or use for work.

It is better for future proof. :P

On top of that, my little bro has Nexus 7 v2012, so I don't want get both of their tablet confuse or mixed up. :P

Yea okay, but 32GB is much really much :P If you say so that you are downloading apps all the time, by the time a new wave of apps comes in for you, some of the other will be old so you can delete those.

It's your choice of course but I recommend the Nexus 7 32GB :P

Btw: Future proofing a tablet is a bit weird if you ask me :/

I meant the storage not the tablet itself, lol.
