Already commented on the video but I thought I should post here in case Cooler Master is lurking.

Love Linus' case idea. I would definitely build a Steambox or Windows HTPC with a case like that. I'm not sold on the options currently available. Yes, the Lian Li PC-Q19 is beautiful. A case as beautiful as this with the practicality of the Linus case would be perfect.

EDIT: Linus - Tell Cooler Master to add a handle or make a handle available as an after-market accessory. If it is about the size of a PS4, a handle would be nice for a LAN machine.

Yes Linus you know exactly what I want :P

I have a CM Stryker and a ROG Maxumis Extreme, I want same specs and functions in an ITX case that fits under my TV/monitor without being starved for air. CM get your shit together, the Elite 110 just dosen´t cut it (but it´s damn close to what I want)

Am I the only person who would prefer to have a full size tower with great hardware that's cooled well next to my living room TV instead of a tiny case with hot hardware?

Edit: Also, what's that spot on Linus's nose?

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Oh man, you need to build the case you described. I really like the concept and/or prototype of the Steambox, so something similar would be nice.

And you are completely right about the drives: It drives me crazy to see itx-cases with poor airflow and/or limited space for graphicscards, but mounting points for tons of 3,5" HDDs.

It's like all the itx cases are made for low power HTPCs or Nas-users. It's time to make something for gamers :)

By the way: The layout of the raven 01 is nice, but the overall looks aren't as elegant, as something like the lian li.

I have mixed feelings about a console-esque case.  Sure it would be nice to have a simple design that I could put out in public to display.  However, I've noticed that I don't game on my TV too often anymore.  So if I were to build a PC that looks like a console, I wouldn't invest too much money, making my components be in the media-level range.  So honestly, the Lian Li is perfect for what I'd do, but I can see the heat limitations people might run into.

I simply disagree with Linus's idea of a console killer form factor using external power bricks... YUCK. I would rather have a SFX or full-sized ATX power supply. I am a big fan of the layout in the digital storm case but without the 1U power supply. However, I would take a 1U or SFX over an external power brick always. I feel like it would be easier to replace these types of power supplies then external power bricks.

Cool case concept Linus would be nice to have  a sleek rig to complement the living room setup.

Interesting what about the Silverstone ML07B case that was used in the SX600G psu video? Thats a console killer case if ive ever seen one.

A good case you might like is the silverstone raven. http://www.silverstonetek.com/raven/products/index.php?model=RVZ01

I have used it, Awesome case for that size.

Having looked at both of these, they seem to be exactly what Lian-Li was trying to pull off here but even smaller and able to fit a full sized graphics card. I figure with a Noctua NH-L9i on the cpu and an ASUS 970/980 STRIX, it could be well cooled and quiet as well.

I like Linus's idea. I don't think I'd buy it, but it would be cool to see.

Looks like a really gorgeous case. But I agree with you Linus it is not very practical. Makes one wonder after all the years people have been designing cases at least one of them should turn out right.

If you get one of the tiny 970s, you have a great Media PC

I agree with Linus the layout is poor unless you have a mini itx version of the 760 MSI ASUS or 970 Gigabyte. Those temps are unreasonable. I don't see coolermaster taking the risk. Make Inwin of companies would do it. They like one off cases. They could do it in style with a nice piece of tempered glass or a amazing quality all aluminum case. Though airflow can be questionable at times.

Linus you should check out the AZZA CSAZ-103. I too have been on an epic voyage across the vastness of the interwebs for a console killer. It's dimensions are 13.50"x4.40"x17.30" (H x W x D) and I managed to cram in a full size non modular power supply, h100i for a 4670k AND h55 with a kraken g10 for my gtx 770. Temps are great. Definitely the best power/size ratio case I have found. From what I can tell it looks almost identical to the cyberpowerpc zeus mini case.

I like this video thus far, but I had to stop and say can we not have a penis joke in every video? I feel like it's heading that direction.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

I really wish you guys would take an XBone and gut it, then build a beast of a pc in it lol. The Power brick. Is already external on the Xbox so you always have that working for you guys. I really don't see it being that difficult to build a pc that would devastate the Xbox components given the size of the Xbox case.

I don't remember the wattage of the power brick for the Xbone, but the 360 was like 140w or something despite its massive size.

Now for the Xbone, despite basically being a pc, it will not fit regular hardware in it, it's proprietary.  You can get higher wattage adapters, like my laptop uses a 330w brick. You'd probably need 2 of them for a beast desktop.

To build inside an Xbone would take expert modding work, and that's not LTT's specialty.
