Can you upload your video in 60fps?

I still don't have a camera.  I tried once this year to pick one out and was happy with it when I bought it and then I got it home and it was garbage.  I hate cameras.  They are too hard for the average person to shop for.  As for this video I really don't get why Linus made this video.

 

They likely made the video because they probably get asked about the setup on a regular basis. This is just their way of keeping the viewers in the loop while not having to reply to every question about it with long winded written answer, they can just send a link to their equipment videos. I cannot comment on your difficulty shopping for cameras though, I have not personally shopped for one yet, i've never had the money to go get a "decent" one. I'm sure I would spend a lot of time researching and still buy junk just as you did.

Though if YouTube would let you crop depending on screen ratio you could have some cool stuff off to the side

 

You can probably do it in YoutubeCenter or other Youtube specific browser extensions.

Of all the videos you've done lately, the glaring video editing/rendering fuckup has to be in the video that's you bragging about how much higher quality your videos have become

Its probably already being fixed and uploaded. It is definitely ironic though.

 

 

I really love these kinds of professional-tech/behind the scenes videos. It'd be cool to see more videos of gear you get to help improve your videos and what they do or how they work.

 

Also maybe it'd be cool to see a break down of how your videos are made, from ideas to uploading. (i'd love tonnes of detail like how you plan out B-roll)

I don't know, I don't really care for 4k content just yet on YouTube, because nor do I have a 4k display or a fast enough internet connection. And I don't mean to sound like a rude guy but, 4k for reviews and tech stuff just doesn't make sense to me. 1080p is enough.

Btw. i usually watch you videos on 1080P because YouTube still fails to deliver 4K 30 FPS to my monitor. Instead it's ~15 FPS and has lots of artifacts in it + youtube decides to step down to 480P because of forementioned inconsistancies, which is why i just don't bother with it and go straight to 1080P.

 

 

Edit: please consider making a video in 1080Px60FPS to test people's reations, i myself would like 60 FPS a lot, even on your videos.

Btw internet cafes here in indonesia use CRT monitors, i doubt they reach 60fps =.=

So far the only content I've seen in 4K has been Season 3 of Video Game High School, but it was absolutely fantastic on my 1440 monitor. Unfortunately my internet is not nearly good enough to stream 4K so I have to download stuff in advance. I can't wait for more content producers to make 4K video, and hopefully I can get a better internet connection soon.

my internet speeds can't even handle 1080p, much less 4k. its great that you are moving forward, but a lot of people cannot take advantage of it. instead of using up resources with higher resolutions, i would rather see more content that everyone can enjoy.

actually, crt monitors were 60, 70, 80, or even 85hz.
