Premiere Pro and After Effects are 2 very different programs... Premiere Pro is more of a 'putting everything together' program and After Effects is you know, making effects and doing 3D work.

Premiere Pro is a video editing solution, After Effects is a video compositing solution.

They are different programs.

Back to topic. Use 1 and 2 because Adobe programs make the best use of your 750 Ti's CUDA cores.

Color editing, as in color correction?

Very few applications can categorize themselves as "video editing" without that feature.

In other words, yes, you can color correct.

I'm an editor myself but every software enlisted has a targeted-use case. As a commonality, all of them are able to edit videos.

1) After Effects - 3D, Visual Effects, Motion Design

2) Premiere Pro - An NLE, usually used to stitch video files, and other exported footage from other applications.

3) DaVinci Resolve - A professional color correcting and grading program.

4) Hitfilm - A layman friendly application, comes with a plethora of effects that are very easy to apply.

EDIT: Premiere Pro easily does photo/text embedding into footage. It's a drag and drop feature for the photo, and a 'Title Editor' for handling text.

Adobe has incorporated some useful and practical Color Correction and Color Grading features into Premiere Pro that the need of another application for said task is superfluous.

GIMP is a free photo manipulation software, if you intend to do so, then use it by all means.

If you don't need to 'professionally' grade your shots then you could completely forego Resolve and stick with Premiere.

The rate at which you create content for YouTube should not be hindered by the constant export/import between software. It's more ideal to edit and color in an all-in-one package such as Premiere Pro.

Cheers ;)
