Anyone ever used the Cherry MX Yellow?

I was browsing the web-er-net when I found the Cherry MX Yellow. There were no pictures, but I assume it looks like any other MX switch except, you know, yellow. I also found out that it's linear. If anyone here has experience with this switch, I would love to know, or if you know it's origins, that'd be awesome too.

It's weird that it doesn't have that cutout that the other ones have.

I think it does but it's too bright for me to clearly tell.

I think the cutout is for tactile switches.

Neither reds nor blacks are tactile

SImple answer: It are not cherry mx switches. They are the same switches as the Rapoo V7 uses. They are pretty much cherry mx reds because of the fact that they are linear and have an actuation force of 45 grams. If i were you i would just buy cherry mx reds since the stems tend to last longer and they are more consistent across the board.

Btw quick note of the actuation force. They actuate at 50g at the and not the 45g of reds al the way down. So the fake yellow switches go from 45-50g per switch

@BurgerBum tells me she's used them. I personally haven't and don't recommend them simply because it's impossible to buy MX Yellow keyboards new anywhere.

Try Reds.

That yellow switch there is a Kailh Yellow switch... The housing of the switch is practically the same of all the other kailh switches out there and I also heard somewhere that Kailh did have a yellow switch. Anyways, if there is a Cherry MX Yellow - I've never heard of those things before, I've only heard of blacks, reds, blues, greens, browns, clears, whites, greys, and that's pretty much all of them.
