Entering Power Save mode (monitor problem)

Hey i have a Dell S2240M and recently i have been getting a issue where when i turn it back on i get power save mode and it goes back to being blank.. the computer is on, and when i leave i just let the monitor turn off by itself or i turn it off i dont log off unless i go to sleep. You guys are the best with computers so im asking you :)
