Linus and Luke should stand up for the WAN show (rather than sit).

This isn't Top Gear, why would they want to stand for that long?

Best post of the night. :D

I really don't agree with the whole "standing at your desk" thing... Most people would probably invest in a comfortable desk chair than an uncomfortable desk.

I think doing something healthy during tech show is that important. As mentioned, they have standing desks. They work out on free time (can't remember what Luke does, but Linus still plays badminton). The WAN show is meant as casual talk show. Not really formal news bulletin. When they do serious stuff, like AFAPs and overviews, they always stand.

And as for doing things healthy, why not go for walking desk while you at it. Like the other Linus has done:

For me walking would be better because I get back, shoulder and neck pain from just standing.

I don't see how they could do that, isn't the place too small for that? and how would they operate the computer?

isn't the WAN show the only video where you see them sitting down?

every other video they ever made (except the gaming couch accessories video) is done standing, So , i think they're on a safe zone for WAN Show.

Details separate people.

Hello,

I'm not very active on the forum, but I would like to see Linus and Luke stand up for the WAN show.

The WAN show is over one hour and 30 minutes and they and any guests are quite literally sitting the entire time.

I have QUICKLY turned my desk into a "standing desk" within 10 minutes.

I used a bunch of boxes and DVD / gamecube (medal of honor) cases.

My only gripe is my keyboard is too high and tying this right now is NOT comfortable.

Here is a link that shows standing rather than sitting is MUCH healthier.

I'd also like to know if anyone else here using a standing desk.

Thanks,

Tim.

Linus and Slick are also in better apparent shape than 99% of this forum so I too think they have the whole "being healthy" thing well understood.
