Windows 8.1 VERY slow

I went from my old 8350 build to my JUST COMPLETED X99 5820K build.

 

I had my OS (win 8.1 pro) on an SSD. When i FINALLY managed to boot with my new system, i booted directly into windows and it still says it's legit o.0 What is this magic? xD

 

Anyway, now it is very slow and i REALLY don't want to reinstall as i don't have extra storage to put all those files on my SSD (mx100 512GB). Would CCleaner help a little? Any other program / method to make windows 8.1 faster without reinstalling?

Yeah since you changed mobo and chipset and all that you should do a clean install of windows. No other real way imo

Hmm, thought so :(

 

I'll probs be doing that tmrw then.

did you update your ssd firmware? 

Computing enthusiast. 
I use to be able to input a cheat code now I've got to input a credit card - Total Biscuit
