Is there a better price I could get this system for new?

I'm getting my own house soon (A couple friends and I are gonna rent a house) and am in need of a great speaker system that I know how to use. So my first thought is the Fender Passport 300. I have a couple years worth of experience using this system through work and was wondering who has the best price for it new? Amazon has a decent deal on it but I was hoping to spend a bit less.

Oh my school has one of those. 

 

Why not just get a home theater system? Rather then a prosumer portable PA

I've used this system for years and absolutely love it. It will mostly be used for partys anywhere so I want something portable.
