Fractal design R4 Custom CNN MOD

Heey Guys,

 

I'm planning to CNN frase my name in the side pannal of my fractal design r4 black case.

however i have a hard time to find what kind of material i have to put behind the open place/myname, maked in the case.

 

i think i like it to be black. and when i turn the leds on its will be transpary. any idea what that material is named? or should i just put red transparety glass? behind it.

 

i would love you idea's about it.

If you want it to be reflective or blacked out from the inside until you turn it on one way glass may be what you are looking for, or one way mirror if you want it to be reflective.

oh thats it! naice,

i was thinking to just put it on there with ''scotisch tape'' it is called, i believe?

i dont want unnesecary holes in my case, have u done something like this before?

Not with a tinted or one way glass but I did enlarge and replace an acrylic window with a glass one before.

You can get acrylic and tint it using some window film or one way film if you plan to have a fair number or openings and need custom cut pieces sine acrylic is a fair bit easier to work with than glass, if your making a lot of cuts.
