Overclocking

Hello guys recently i found out i can overclock (very expert, much smart)

Anyways i have an i7 2700k and a asus p8z77-v deluxe

Its currently at auto oc @ 4.4

Does anybody have a guide or a vid showing how can i manually over clock it

Ps: Running stock intel cooler may watercool later

You're running a stock cooler with your CPU @4.4GHz are you sure?

He probably is, but im sure his pc is sweating something fierce. He should at least slap an evo 212 in there.

You either smashed the competition in the silicone lottery, you are running extremly unstable or your CPU is hot enough to grill on.

I wouldn't recommend overcloking (overvolting to be more precis) on a stock cooler. Be that auto or manual overclocking.

You either smashed the competition in the silicone lottery, you are running extremly unstable ot your CPU is hot enough to grill on.

I wouldn't recommend overcloking (overvolting to be more precis) on a stock cooler. Be that auto or manual overclocking.

what temps is it running at under full load?

Water is completely unnecessary. I would never recommend more than nh-d15 which is about $70 But at least on evo 212. An evo 212 keeps my i5 nice and cool at 1.275V

85-90° load is acceptable in benching/stability testing, anything above is horrible.

thats going to die then. put it back to stock turbo frequency and lower the voltage as much as you can, until you get a proper cooler
