Phone trouble, keyboard is stuck in landscape (android)

It is always in landscape, whether phone is in portrait or not. Here's a picture: http://imgur.com/UZbPcjB Restart didn't fix it.

Is that the default keyboard? Try some other keyboards like Swiftkey

Try a hard reboot. (Hold power and volume down i believe). Changing the keyboard to a non default one may work.
