H440 Replacement fans.

tlmills82

I'm looking to buy a NZXT H440 for my new build and I'm thinking of replacing the front and rear fans with higher performance fans.  Any suggestions.  I'd prefer to keep the rear exhaust as the corsair AF120 or 140 since it will be visible, but I'm open to suggestions.

(I will be using an H100i on the top of the case with the supplied SP fans)

Corsair's Air and SP series look good. Coming in both performance and quiet edition I'd be confident with either. Other fan manufacturers make good ones too, but you can replace the corsair ones with the red or blue or white hoops to match your H440's colour scheme.

Akasa Apache/Rosewill Hyperborea
Be Quiet! Silent Wings 2
Cougar Vortex PWM CFV12HPB, Turbine (Best $5 fans when on sale, 4 packs and singles)
Enermax Twister Pressure, Magma Advance, Cluster Advance, T.B. Vegas
Gelid Wing 12/12 PL/14
Noctua NF-F12, NF-A14 FLX, industrialPPC
Noiseblocker BlackSilentPro PL-PS

If you want the rear fan to be Corsair, I'd recommend the AF140 Quiet Edition, it's their only not shit fan.

GELID Silent 12/14. They are amazing fans and cost noticeably less then Noctua or Noiseblocker.

It doesn't have to be the corsair I just want a fan that's preferably going to match the red/black scheme.

The Enermax Magma Advance I listed should do that nicely. They're black framed with red blades.

Another fan I didn't list, but should do well are Aerocool DS-120/DS-140.

It's their blade designs, Performance Editions move at 2k+ RPM and move as much air as slower, quieter fans do. While they're well built (Mostly, their rubber things are annoying), there is more to a fan than the frame construction.

I have SP120s (red rings on front intake) and red LED SP140s in my H440 plus a AF140 for exhaust. Check out my build in the build logs if you want to see how it looks.

In my recent build I used Aerocool Dead Silence fans and so far I'm really impressed, ultra quiet. They do red and black ones, but the looks are not for everyone... I like the black and white ones though.

I love the looks of those Aerocools.

I have 3 120mm be quiet silent wings 2 as front intake and two 140mm silent wings 2 as exhaust.  They're pretty boss.
