ok found out why it didn't work. The Evolve Alpha was using the integrated intel gpu in my laptop also why it ran at 10fps.

well its redeemed through steam so i dont see why not.

Even steam overlay doesnt work for me.

Shadowplay works with any game, the only time it won't work is when Shadowplay decides to break which is somewhat often as it's still beta software.

I kinda guessed that when i didnt get a match after 10minutes.hopefully they'll extend the alpha to compensate for lost time.

Depends on how long the issue persists for though. The alpha has only started for like 2hrs, if it was fixed within the next few hours it doesn't seem like that big a deal, frustrating but I managed to play 2 games before it went dead. Although I'm just not that not picky. Lol. Its 2am for me so its not like I'm losing lots of time. Haha.
