Msi Z97 G55 SLI or Msi Gaming 5

Hi,

i'm planning to buy i7 4790 so i'm not going to be able to overclock my cpu.And i will get a msi gtx 970.

Which motherboard should i get ?

Why msi z97 g55 sli?

-It's cheaper.

-has sli support

Why msi gaming 5?

-looks better.

-some features like steam os support, killer network..

-sli

Thanks

If you ever plan on going SLI i'd suggest any of these...the extra features of the gaming motherboard are mostly gimmicks (i know i own one) the G55 sli will do the job just fine as long as you can deal with a black and blue board...it's mostly about looks i would say...the gaming board has better audio chips but you won,t notice the difference playing video games and MP3's...you'd have to have high quality headphones and uncompressed audio and music files to feal the difference.

so, if you are happy with the look of the G55 SLI that's what i would recommend...if you don't plan on going with SLI down the road i'd suggest even cheaper: the MSI H97 PC mate

and what about power supply and cooling? are you equipped to support dual graphics card other than the motherboard?
